Infinite Undiscovery Details
Not much is known about Infinite Undiscovery, an RPG being developed for Xbox 360 by tri-Ace. But some new details have been uncovered, thanks to the latest issue of Famitsu.
The game’s protagonist is a young itinerant entertainer by the name of Kapel. He happens to look just like the “hero of light”, Siegmund. Kapel, who is playing the flute, is a nice guy, who does not wish to fight. However, eventually he is forced to abandon this peaceful stance as he is mistaken for Siegmund and taken captive by the Army of the Seal. The game’s heroine, Aya, is a member of the Liberation Army. Despite her cute looks, she uses very strong language. She is traveling alongside Siegmund. Aya is usually trying to hide her weaknesses and forces herself to give her best. After hearing that Siegmund had been captured by the Army of the Seal, she comes to his rescue. However, the captive obviously wasn’t Siegmund, but Kapel.
The transition from exploration to battle mode will be seamless. As expected from a game made by tri-Ace, battles will be fought in real-time. Apart from your party members, other friends standing nearby might come to your help in battle. The development is also implementing situation battles. One example of such a situation battle has Kapel and Aya running away from a giant monster pursuing them.
A key theme of the game will be “discoveries”. These discoveries range from discovering and then preemptively attacking an enemy, to sensing and then avoiding an incoming tsunami wave.
Infinite Undiscovery has yet to receive an official release date.
