Square Enix Seeks Talent

Square Enix currently seeks, via its Internet site, of the people interested by projects of developments of plays.

The Japanese editor specifies that any person having interesting ideas, to write a scenario of video game for example, can postulate until next May 8th by sending one CV. The offer does not limit himself to the people with particular competences in this field.

Square Enix thus proposes a 3 month contract, which starts as from July 3rd next with Shinjuku in Tokyo in Japan, paid 900 Yens ($7.65) per hour, an occasion for the newcomers to show all their talents and to be perhaps made recruit for one longer duration at the developer.

Square Enix Announces New Joint Venture

Square Enix today announced a joint venture with Gakushuukenkyuusha (Gakken). The two companies will set up a new company called SG Lab which will develop and publish serious games aimed at education, public relations and more. 60% of company’s capital will come from Square Enix, while Gakken will invest the remaining 40%.
